Fever for pets has spread across the planet. This industry invoiced almost 100,000 million euros only in the United States, Europe and Latin America. This sector is the reflection of the global economy and the dilemmas and excesses of increasingly urban and self-absorbed societies. A third of the population of Spain consider their dog or cat more important than their friends. “Petism” awakens the debate about the relationships between humans and other species.
